Keep in mind that Alie had no idea anything was amiss until Lou emailed us the photos on Monday. I stared at the photos over her shoulder as she laughed in horror as the scene unfolded on her computer screen.

I feel like if someone were to ask what my personality was like, the askee would need only show the asker this series of photographs, and they would get a pretty good idea. That makes me endlessly happy.Of course, there were some slightly more normal photos that day:

But the aforementioned ones are my favorite, of course.

That is pretty damn fantastic!
awesome :)
OMG, I think I tried on that exact same dress at Target. (Apologies if that dress is actually some awesome vintage find.) I can't even explain the ridiculousness of it on my super long-torsoed self; I am therefore jealous of anyone who can pull that dress off. (And you do it ever so well.)
When we were leetle, Georg and I shared a bunk-bed - she on the bottom, I on top... as is perfectly normal and appropriate for siblings. As the older sister, it was my duty to turn off the light and climb up to my bunk every night, with my sister's bony/skeletal fingers clawing at my toes as I stepped up every one of those 4-or-so-steps... perhaps the very reason I was terrified of the dark well into my late 20's - despite working in darkrooms for over 10 years. It took living alone with a black cat in a noisy city for me to be comfortable in the dark, and even still, my imagination can get the better of me some nights...
Impossibly cute, both of youze.
But I am stuck with a lingering question...
Can we really have our true "spirits" captured IF we are aware that the camera is on us? Isn't those moments where we are alone or think we are alone that are personalities emerge, without the weight of another pair of eyes on us...?
And not just a literal film camera, but like, if we know we are being watched, are we really ever ourselves? Or are we playing to the camera?
Then again, real actors often tap into and expose us to looks at their own souls (or what we might believe are their souls) for performances on stage and screen. Brando, Dean, etc. But they are still "acting".
Sorry, to get heavy on a Friday...! These are rhetorical... I sure as shit don't have the answer here... So let's all just keep being fabulous in the meantime...!
