Xanax Is My Copilot
Ya'll are so sweet with your "hope you're okay" and "get the eff out of that neighborhood!" comments in my last post about the shooting in my neighborhood. But, ummmm, guess what? It happened again. Yes, AGAIN!!! I'm not even going to get into details this time, but just know that the only reason I fell asleep last night was due to a mixture of Jameson, Xanax, and a warm kitty curled into the curve of my body. So I've got three apartments to view this evening, and I'm still waiting to hear about the "one bedroom"* I fell in love with last week.
*it is a "bed room", meaning all it would fit is a bed and that's about it.
I'm looking forward to getting the hell out of town at the end of the week, and I'd like to kindly request that all criminals in San Francisco refrain from shooting anyone within my earshot for the weekend, as my nerves are a little bit shot to hell at the moment. I'd also like to request that it not rain, as I'm planning on giving the slides I was somehow completely oblivious to during the three years I lived in SF a good workout. Seriously, how did I not know about this???

Holy hell, again?! Eek, poor thing. Hope you get out soon.
And who??? Who's mind are you on? Who is him?
Stray bullets make me sad in the pants. Good luck with the apartment hunting!
i can't believe you are going to be around the corner from me and i will be in north carolina (totally random, i know). i'd have you over for tea or a cold beer...or at least meet you at the slides...AMAZING! have fun!
what's the slides?
What happened to the NY guy???
I'm so sorry to hear about this, in the past year my friend was mugged in this area in broad daylight and 2 months ago i had my car window smashed and laptop stolen late at night while at a party in silverlake. that area is getting worse and worse and lately i've been trying to avoid it as much as possible.
I highly recommend heading out this way and moving to Culver City area which just keeps getting better and better. literally every week a new restaurant, bar, and art gallery opens up in my neighborhood, cooler and younger type of people are moving out here and i am really starting to love what it's turning into which is a nice clean arts district.
Good news - I finally got a Xanax prescription.
